Marina’s biggest achievement has been the publication of her book – Junior Handling The White Way. She chose to write it during her gap year while working full-time at Aberdeen City Council. She wanted to pass on her experience of showing dogs as a junior handler to the next generation. She spent almost 18 months writing the content, organising photo shoots and collating photographs for the book. Marina had just moved 600 miles south to start her university degree when the first printed copy dropped through her door.
As a result of her success in dog handling, Marina has also written articles for many dog publications including Our Dogs, of which she was the monthly columnist for five years. She has also produced material for many canine websites, club magazines and year books.
Marina then worked as Assistant Editor for Dog World, one of the UK’s leading dog newspapers. She was involved in editorial, advertising, production, marketing and events.
