Gemma was Kissy’s daughter. Marina started using her in Junior Handling classes as Kissy ‘slowed up’. She was a very versatile beagle – she could be freestood, stacked and variations of these two.
The pair did well as a partnership and won the Scottish Junior Handler of the Year title in 1998 and Runner Up Show Handler of the Year in 2000 at Crufts.
Gemma went to live with Penny Petrille (Hapenny Beagles) in California and died at nearly 16 years of age, producing two champion daughters and two champion grandaughters.
